Feds Lose Stagliano Obscenity Case—First in Over 30 Years
Friday, July 16, 2010, was a banner day not only for defendant John Stagliano, but for the adult entertainment industry in general. That was the day U.S. District Judge Richard J. Leon, pursuant to a number of “Rule 29″ motions filed by Stagliano’s attorneys, dismissed what was left of the Obscenity Prosecution Task Force’s seven-count indictment against Stagliano individually, John Stagliano, Inc. and Evil Angel Productions, Inc.
