Feds Lose Stagliano Obscenity Case—First in Over 30 Years
Friday, July 16, 2010 was a banner day not only for Defendant John Stagliano, but for the adult entertainment industry in general. That was the day U.S. District Judge Richard J. Leon, pursuant to a number of “Rule 29″ motions filed by Stagliano’s attorneys, dismissed what was left of the Obscenity Prosecution Task Force’s seven count indictment against Stagliano individually, John Stagliano, Inc. and Evil Angel Productions, Inc.
