A logo design should be simple and clean so it can be easily remembered and recognized. Too many designers out there want to be artsy and pack in a bunch of graphics and concepts. What they end up with is a confusing mess that doesn’t distinctly identify the company and service.

Original Work
Don’t copy others. When you are trying to stand out and make your mark a unique and memorable design is going to set you apart from the rest of the field. It’s a way of telling people you are a new, fresh idea, concept or company and people love checking out new things.

Don’t Rely on Trends
If your company is here to stay, then you don’t want to rely on trends when designing your logo. Trends are in and out in too short a period of time. If you design a logo based on a passing fad then you’ll find you’ll be changing it far too often and people won’t have a chance to identify you with anything. You want to create something that’s hot and that will last.
